The alliance, formalized on March 1, 2025, aims to power the next generation of global multimedia IP by combining Nola’s vast database of over 2 million Japanese “gensaku” (original IP works) with Red Seven’s proven expertise in webtoon production.

This collaboration will focus on delivering a full-scale “IP Development Total Package”—offering businesses end-to-end support from sourcing and evaluating IP to developing it into commercially viable content such as webtoons, manga, and novels.

As the global webtoon market rapidly expands—projected to hit 3.85 trillion yen by 2028—the partnership seeks to address key challenges such as sustainable production systems and quality content creation. Together, the companies aim to build a scalable, creator-first ecosystem that supports both emerging and established talents.
